We were visiting Seattle and one of our party has an interest in cider. He found the Capital Cider and we went there for dinner. It was a healthy walk up Pike then East Pike from the Motif hotel in the early evening. The restaurant/bar has a nice local atmosphere and it wasn\t crowded as it was a monday. The focus is on ciders but there is beer and other drinks. Drinks of note: Elderberry lavender counterfeit cocktail, Finnriver pear cider-sweet 6.7% alcohol, Finnriver habernaro was also good...sweet to start but the pepper spice after taste was a good surprise. Food choices: Warm olives-nice,Pork belly- small dish, 1 piece with asparagus good but could be a bit crispier, Baby greens salad with white balsamic-good, Burger and fries was good but could have added a tomato and/or lettuce for some colour and veg, Crispy skin Salmon had a scrispy skin and the acompanying beans tasted as if they came straight from the garden. Overall the food was tasty. Also on the walls were well done oil on canvas paintings which were done in a technique called master copying. They are done by Students from the Gage Academy and you can buy the paintings. Note: Gluten and peanut free establishment

Capitol Cider的brunch可以吃到不少不含谷蛋白（gluten-free）的美食，如香蕉面包法式吐司、shortrib hash和甜甜圈配糖渍水果，再配上一杯或者三杯苹果mimosa一起享用吧。平常可以吃谷蛋白的人在这里也不会想念小麦。brunch时间是周六和周日早晨十点到下午三点。
