First visit after refurb late in 2015. The great band of singers have gone, but the food is still the same. Good quality. Its always a gamble on what arrives first, the dessert, the mains or the starters. The food, Thai or Western, is well cooked and tasty. Its an extensive menu with things to suit most tastes. Wasn\t the best Sinagpore Sling, but the watermelon shake is very tasty. Shame the fun singers have gone, but its still a good place for a nice meal.

It has been a while since we went to The Ceramic Kitchen but we had heard there had been a change in Management and a \make over\ had been recently completed. There was 6 of us and we hadn\t booked, it was 8pm ... however, we were quickly seated and had time to look around at the changes - whilst we waited to order drinks. The staff seemed to be disorganised and it took a while for the drinks to arrive ... in fact, one didn\t - which wasn\t picked up by the staff - before, all of a sudden, lots of fellow guests arrived .... which threw the staff into panic stations! When we came to order dinner ... the extensive menu[s] had many items that were not available until the next month [ 3 days away] - which was disappointing. But, to be fair - what we ordered eventually arrived ... and was very good. We had to ask for more drinks ... the staff remained disorganised throughout the evening. Having said that ... we will probably return ... but will leave it a few months to let the staff bed-in. The changes to the physical side of the restaurant were definitely an improvement - much more open - and unique. One other thing [!] the live music was good - until a fellow guest was encouraged .... her singing was so awful, we were pleased we were about to leave!
