This is a very casual, comfortable restaurant, that\s perfect for a quick meal with great food. The restaurant has an extensive Asian fusion menu with lots of mouth watering dishes from all over Asia. Everything we ordered was very good, particularly the shrimp and vegetable tempura with a light and tasty coating. The décor is quite plain, and the noise level can be quite high at times when the restaurant is full. The service is prompt and friendly and the prices are very reasonable. The restaurant has a particularly long happy hour, from 4:00 to 9:00 pm. This is a restaurant that is worth returning to often.

We went to Amaze based on reading reviews on Trip Advisor. We were not disappointed! We were seated right away and our server was there quickly to take our drink order. Happy Hour goes until 9pm! WOW. Bottled beer was $3 and mixed drink $6. Incredible for friday night in mid-town! We had a Jalapeno Yellowtail appetizer that was very good (many appetizers are less expensive during happy hour). We got 3 regular sushi rolls and a specialty roll. They were fresh and delivered to our table very quickly after being prepared by the sushi chef. They also have a full menu of mostly Japanese food items (hot and cold). We got out for $50 plus tip. An unbelievable value for this part of town. The place is not too noisy, and it was clean. Definitely will be back.

I recently had dinner at Amaze while in NY on vacation. I originally came here because the sign outdoors advertised cocktails and a happy hour. The locale is nicely decorated with soft lighting and relaxing music. I sat at the bar and a Chinese waitress made a very good Grey Goose Martini. While enjoying my drink, I looked over the menu and ordered a portion of Edamame. The portion size was generous and the edamame was perfectly cooked, salted and not soggy. I subsequently decided to stay for dinner. I enjoyed a nice bowl of wonton soup that had a delicious broth. I followed this with a 21 piece sashimi platter. The fish was very fresh and expertly prepared and presented. I noticed a very active takeout and delivery service as well. The owner and waitress provided efficient, friendly service throughout my visit to Amaze. Prices were very reasonable by NY standards with my above meal including the cocktail and a glass of wine, totaling $45.00. I highly recommend Amaze to the TripAdvisor community.
