This is the type of restaurant everyone wants in their neighbourhood. Local, simple, friendly. Food is rustic Italian. Prices are low. Service is effective and attentive, yet very friendly. I had a classic, mixed salad of greens and a Vitello Tonnato. Both dishes very fresh and tasty. I also had a caraffe of the house red wine. At the price of 7Euros for 1/2 liter, you would not expect a great wine, but it was surprisingly good! And rideculously cheap. The whole meal was a total of 22Euros, which is not often you come by. At least not for the quality you get here. An added bonus: I was on my own this particular night, and the atmosphere and layout of the cosy trattoria made me feel welcome and comfortable even if I was sitting alone. There were magazines and books in the window you could read. I really would love a place like this around MY corner at home!
