You may think this is just another bar but when you dine at the restaurant it has a clear point of difference. The food is nicely cooked, well presented and there is plenty of it. We took the unusual step of needing a doggy bag to take excess pasta home. It was just as yummy the next day. If you want to avoid the noise of the bar patrons you can ask to be seated down the back of the restaurant area. There is room for large groups and the staff and friendly and helpful.

We go periodically to this eatery and it always seemed a bit noisy. We dined here last early on a Sunday evening when there were several large family parties and neither the restaurant nor bar was crowded. We sat at the end of the "dog leg" nook, and it was wonderfully quiet. S had a chicken Ceasar salad and I indulged in fish and chips. They were wonderful, nice crispy batter, lots of hot chips and tasty garnish. Wait staff were attentive and cordial. A real neighbourhood pub.

Had not visited previously as it always seemed very busy and were unable to get a booking. So we visited for a lunch several weeks ago and found a very welcoming staff and an ideal lunch choice. As a result of this visit we decided to have a main evening meal last Sunday. A new menu gave some new choices and we both enjoyed our meals and shared dessert. The staff are very friendly and the service prompt. Both meals and drinks seem to be reasonably priced. We will be back again.
