We had a delightful stay at Devashola Mango Tree Bungalow with our family and kids. The rooms were comfortable and well-maintained, providing a perfect setting for quality family time. The homely vegetarian food was absolutely delicious, and the caretakers were polite and attentive. However, the bungalow is situated in the midst of a tea estate, where wild animal movements are common. We strongly recommend enhancing the security measures. During our stay, a wild elephant breached the electric fencing and damaged the garden's play area. Fortunately, this occurred early in the morning while we were sleeping, so we were not affected. Despite this incident, our previous three visits to the resort have been wonderful, and we look forward to seeing improved security in the future. Overall, it's a great place to relax and enjoy with family.

We reached Devashola in the middle of the northeast monsoon, and yet managed to create some wonderful memories in the three days that we stayed at the Palaniappa cottage. On one hand was the magnificience of nature and the serenity of the place, and on the other were small things such as the simple, home cooked food, or the Puja decorations every morning. Altogether, a great way to slow down from the hectic pace of everyday life.

Exceptional location and helpful staff made it a memorable stay. The location is an hour out of Ooty or Coonoor. Wake up to the sounds of Bulbuls and Robins, which are plentiful and with sightings of wild bison. Please keep necessary snacks and medicines stocked as the location is far off from any shops.

It was amazing experience, the manager was so nice, the food was awesome too, the rooms are bigger and clean, easily 5 person can stay in one room, the homely food was really delicious, its free tea estate track in early morning so we enjoyed a lot roaming around. The place is quite and 35 KM away from Ooty, if you want to see the scenes where Bollywood films are showing then you must visit the place, the journey from Ooty to Devshola is really awesome.

Heaven on Earth is what coonoor is about and this cottage adds it's best to it; Nature's at its Best . This places is at the top of coonoor and best view point; enjoy the beauty of nature which is beyond imagination .A very less known to tourist ; untouched beauty. Place to live and enjoy . My two day visit with family and relatives was awesome and enjoyed every moment of life , far from office tension, relaxed like you have been retired from every responsibility of life. Mesmerizing beauty of nature is to behold and to love the gift of god. Greenery is at it best to love the nature tea estate. Cooking staff is very welcoming , serves southndian healthy food . Traveling to that hight takes lot of time and tiring for kids if you are coming from north . From Bangalore itself takes 11 hours drive . Coonoor panipallam cottage is the best to stay and to enjoy with family . Two days includes trekking and visiting nearby waterfall and if you are left with more energy than you can explore more places by climbing mountains with guide. Two days visit is more than enough to enjoy the places that includes Ooty trip also.
