Greenery, coffee and spice plantations, misty hills, cool climate, and peaceful natural ambience. Outdoor amenities: nature walks, plantation( night walk) bird‐watching,water games,robe games. Spacious properties set in nature, often with cottages, bungalow‐style rooms rather than large hotel blocks. Good focus on food—cuisine, multi‐cuisine buffets. great service, excellent restaurant, infinity‐pool is a hit. Very good for families (lots of activities for kids) and couples and friends... i had a very pleasant time—refreshing, relaxing, beautiful scenery, good Plantation walk...is must.

Very good hospitality, very good ambiance , good place , friendly staffs and different food and the adventures was excellent and water activity was good , they gave more information about coorg culture by taking us to the plantation walk at night , trekking experience was amazing

It was an amazing weekend spent at Evergreen County Retreat ***** with my family to celebrate my wife’s birthday. I was initially a bit skeptical about visiting this place since it sounded quite different from any resort we had heard of—no smoking, only vegetarian food, and non-alcoholic—especially for a place in Coorg! But it turned out to be exactly what we were looking for—an absolutely wonderful experience. The most impressive part was the warmth and hospitality of the hosts and staff. From the time of booking the resort to our farewell, and even after we reached home, the team’s care and attention were exceptional. I even received a thoughtful message checking if we had reached back safely — a small gesture that truly made a big difference. Special thanks to Mr. Puneet, Mr. Soma, Mr. Wilson, and Mr. Darshan for their outstanding support, and to Ms. Shamna from the reservations team for her excellent coordination. Their efforts made our stay smooth and memorable. Evergreen County Retreat is truly one of a kind—a perfect destination for anyone who loves nature, adventure, and pure relaxation. I’d highly recommend it to families and travelers looking for an authentic, refreshing, and peaceful getaway.

A very pleasant stay, amidst nature, simple homemade food and some lovely people. This is a common comment but I have to say this again, the staff is polite, helpful and will assist you in every possible... Thy can assist you to plan your itinerary too. The only downside...the roads leading to Virajpet are not great...it slowed us down quite a bit...but I don't think they can do anything about it... Loved your concept of night walk...I was a bit skeptical in the dark but the assisting staff was a pro...he guided us really well..and actually, literally reminded us that we can see in the dark... So all in all had a good time...no complaints as such

Having visited three times now, I am constantly impressed by the consistency in welcoming service, delicious vegetarian cuisine, and the heartfelt care shown by every team member. Guests are nurtured with utmost attention here—an experience that’s rare to find elsewhere.A special shout-out to Sagar, whose prompt assistance made my stay stress-free; it was comforting to know that any need was just one call away. Punith, the activity coach, also deserves thanks for orchestrating activities with professionalism and ensuring every guest’s safety and enjoyment.One highlight of this visit was the signature Night Walk—an adventure that sets this resort apart. The tranquility, unique natural setting, and immersive experience make it something every guest should try. It was truly unforgettable.It’s important to mention that this retreat intentionally maintains an atmosphere centered on wellness and mindful living. Parties, alcohol, smoking, and non-vegetarian food are not part of the experience here. Instead, guests are treated to the tastiest vegetarian dishes prepared with care and warmth.As a suggestion for the future, the property has ample space to grow its own vegetables. Creating a kitchen garden could add a new dimension to the guest experience—imagine walking through lush gardens, showing kids how their food is grown, and teaching the value of sustainability and respecting the food on our plates.
