The rooms were basic but comfortable. Unfortunately people were not very good at keeping the kitchen clean and there was a strong smell of incense which might bother some people. The reception was also closed for a long period during the day which was slightly annoying as it would have been great to get some info when we arrived.

The room was big and clean. There is an outdoor pool and kitchen with tables. The accommodation was good, but there was no cold water - so we had to brush our teeth and drink hot water. There is a sign indicating that this can happen at times, since it gets very warm outside, so be prepared for this.

My Husband (62) and I (47) stayed 9 days in a double A/C room. Comfortable bed, air con worked perfectly, very clean toilets and showers. Beautiful plants and succulents throughout. The pool/bar area has new ceilings fans and a cool breeze most of the day. The HIGHLIGHT was by far the amazing, friendly, helpful staff. Thank you so much for a wonderful holiday! Excellent hostel, clean, bright and well maintained. Staff were very informative, and helpful. Checkin in and checkout was easy. Bathrooms and showers were very clean and I felt very comfortable here. I would definitely recommend to others.

Really nice common area. Has a really cheap bar and couple of pool tables. Great place to have some laughs with friends and meet people. The kitchen is in need of a big clean up and reno but still quite large allowing lots of people to cook simultaneously. We had a private room for three (bunk bed with a double bed on the bottom) which was good quality. The room has a window and lockers. Bathrooms were very clean too. The laundry is outside which is really good but very easy for someone to walk into backpackers and steal clothes on the line as it is next to the exit. However, I felt fine using it every time and was never worried (just a thought if you have anything valuable). Staff were very helpful. Can book certain wildlife tours through the backpackers.
