This hotel is newly renovated, and is a reliable, clean, and comfortable stay. If you need ground floor rooms, or can't climb stairs, be sure to make that clear on your reservation. The hotel predates the ADA (by quite a bit I am sure) and there isn't an elevator. Amy at the front desk was happy to accommodate my request for ground floor though, and she could not have been more helpful, even though they didn't technically have one available. I cite that because your experience with a fully renovated room will probably differ a bit. The room I had was ground floor, and I think in the "almost done" phase of its reno, since the deadbolt lock didn't work and there was no flip latch, but that wasn't a concern for me. The closet/hanging area wasn't finished, but it's roomy, and will be great when done. The bed was clean, and incredibly comfortable, and the room was spotless. The shower was terrific, and there was plenty of hot water, and the bathroom is roomy and well appointed. The toiletries provided were excellent - they were definitely a step up from many hotels, and the linens were comfortable as well. I appreciated that the pillows were also a variety of firmness, so sleep was very comfortable. I was in on a quiet weekend, so there weren't a lot of people at breakfast. It looked like the usual complement of cereal, and bread for toast. Waffle station (of course) and there were hot sausage patties as the extent of the hot breakfast. Fortunately, those were excellent, and all in all, not a wide choice, but it was good, and the coffee and juice service was excellent. The coffee in particular felt a step above what yo normally find in a hotel breakfast. Check in and check out were easy, and as mentioned, Amy, who was working the front desk, could not have been more helpful. She is a real asset and excellent in the customer service skills department. This hotel is family owned, and they are on property, so they take your stay seriously, and it shows. The lobby is really neat, with a nice retro vibe (but not at all cheesy) and the breakfast area is roomy and comfortable. The rooms are large, and the appointments all look brand new - they have been renovated with care and attention, and it's still being improved daily, from what it appears. The best part is that every staff person I saw was friendly, spoke, and checked on my stay. That's a great culture of hospitality, and I really appreciated their friendliness. The hotel is a little tricky to get to (it's on a street in name, but also one that is mostly extended parking lot -- however, I was there at night - the next morning, it all made way more sense) but parking is easy, and seemed to be plentiful. They have several EV charging stations on the front side of the property, right near the front door (like, almost all of the spots) so it could be a bit of a walk to get in, but as I mentioned, there are other entrances, so it doesn't seem like anything is that far away. This is a great choice,

Parking okay. Limited dining options without driving. Breakfast is poor, I opted to grab coffee and check out.

Largest refrigerator I have ever seen in a standard room. The beds are great and makes for a good night’s rest. The bathroom room is very spacious with a long vanity. Chris has a warm welcome smile. Breakfast was good with great coffee. The outside is not impressive but the inside makes up. No elevator just wide steps to the 2nd. floor. Not bad at all.

Room was big, kind of older but well taken care of. Different kind of layout. By the time I woke up, the snow was cleared from the parking lot (8am) Was pleased with service, receptionist had my key and paperwork made up from my reservation. Printed my folio from my account when I got home. Location was 3 miles from my office and intersecting 2 hwys right there makes it very convenient. Will stay here again.
