The little house is beautifully restored. The property is awesome. Kitchen had most of the basics covered, but would have benefited by more though cleaning of cupboards. Property is conveniently located downtown. Bed is uncomfortable and bathroom is tiny. Sitting room is awesome. We stayed previously in the Tucson Room and preferred it. Staff is responsive. Be warned there is railroad noise from nearby tracks.

I stayed there for the big bike event that took place this past weekend in Tucson. The location was perfect to get to and from the convention center. There are plenty of bars and restaurants in the area. Furthermore, the room far exceeded my expectations. They kept it very clean and I had plenty of space.

If I wanted to short-term rental (airbnb, vrbo) I would have done so. I wanted a hotel where I could drop off my bags before checkin. I called the hotel the day before my arrival and then again the morning of arrival to confirm that I could drop off bags, which is a universal feature of hotels anywhere in the world in my experience. No answer, just a recorded request to leave a voicemail. In the morning of my arrival to Tuscon after showing up at the Inn at 8 AM I decided to send a text message. No response to multiple texts. I ended up dragging my luggage to my destination and making alternative plans. Many hours later the host texted back saying that there was a problem with their phone. This is an obvious lie. Checkin at 4 PM was straightforward.
I am writing this review because guests considering this "hotel" should know that it isn't really a hotel. It's a room rental with a host who is offsite and who isn't responsive to text messages and does not respond to phone calls. Which would not be acceptable even for an Airbnb/Vrbo short term rental.
Regarding the room, it is really fantastic for the price. Newly rennovated, great bed, strong wifi, beautiful bathroom, nice towels.
The courtyard is nice enough with seating and cacti.
Location is not in downtown but a short walk away.

We then texted you to inform you that you had not made proper arrangements for luggage drop-off. We tried calling again in the early evening, but once more, it went to voicemail.At 1:23 pm, we texted you about your rental codes and received no response until 3:02 pm, at which point we informed you that you could check in early without any additional fees and that your rental was ready.When anyone reserves a room with us online, they receive an email stating that we are a self-check-in property and that arrangements for luggage drop-off, early parking, or early check-in need to be made. Unfortunately, you did not follow these procedures. Therefore, we recommend that you check your emails and make the necessary arrangements when traveling.We have many great reviews, and our guests typically have excellent experiences checking in and staying at our property. We apologize for any inconvenience you experienced due to this oversight on checking your emails and itinerary. Thank you

We love staying here! It’s such a nice property, the rooms are nice and the themes are fun! Very cute courtyard and walking distance to so many restaurants and venues! We will definitely stay again!
