酒店回复: Grazie per gli apprezzamenti. Come avrà potuto constatare siamo una piccola struttura, non paragonabile, nel bene e nel male, ai grandi resort o Hotel di catene internazionali. Anche la nostra colazione non è paragonabile a quella che si può trovare in quelle strutture. Facciamo infatti lo yogurt tutti i giorni, offriamo i prodotti stagionali dell’orto e del frutteto a mt zero e cerchiamo di offrire una buona varietà di formaggi, salumi, marmellate, frutta, verdura e dolci fatti in casa. Rimane tuttavia una colazione a buffet (non on demand) di una piccola struttura. Mi spiace se le vostre aspettative riguardo alle uova siano state disilluse ... in compenso possiamo leggere che avete apprezzato molti altri aspetti di ciò che offre Borgo della Spiga e di ciò che conta in una vacanza :-)

I could go on but in every language BdS is outstanding. Its location, on a small dome of land provides for the most exceptional 360 degree view, with several hill top towns on the horizon. The garden is quite spectacular, as is the pool area and from every point there is that view. We were surprised by the variety of bird life- regularly visited by hoopoes, a flock of Europen bee eaters, and on our first evening as we had dinner on the bistrot terrace a "murmuration" of small egrets. We stayed in an apartment- with a large double bed on the mezzanine floor, and a large fold away double on the ground floor- which took literally 20 seconds to convert to a most comfortable bed, and 20 seconds to convert back to a large very comfortable sofa. Aircon was high quality, effective and almost silent, and needed particularly for our first few days with temperatures above 30C. Pool was beatifully layed out and with lots of high quality furniture. You might be impressed with a 5/5 rating on TA- but BdS is better than that! Deborah and Andrea are constantly on hand, to respond to any queation, and always ready with suggestions. This is truly a beautiful place.
