During our journey through the beautifull Scotland, we stayed for one night in this lovely B&B. The house was just at the outskirts of the idyllic town of Anstruther. With gorgeous view over the countryside. We were greeted very welcomming by the owners Mark and Jennifer. The house was beautifully decorated and very clean. Our room was really nice, with a large bed and seperate bathroom. Everything was really clean and tidy. The house has a really nice common room with a large cabinet full of whiskeys, gins and rums. You can help yourself and just write down what you had, so it can be payed at breakfast. A really nice touch, allthough maybe a bit high priced, but that probably counts for whole Scotland. And that is in comparison with Dutch prices. Breakfast was very well done with lots of choice and really delicious. This stay was a very good start of our holiday roundtrip through the beautifull Scotland.

We had an enjoyable stay at The Spindrift Guest House. We were made to feel very welcome. The room was spacious, albeit somewhat hot, and the bed comfortable. We took advantage of the whisky honour system and enjoyed that in the sitting room (after having fish and chips from the Anstruther Fish Bar). The following day we had a lovely breakfast. All in all a good stay.

Exceptionally well appointed guesthouse owned and run by the friendliest couple you could ever meet - they really have an enthusiastic and proud passion for the place. Bedrooms are impresively appointed with quality furnishings, large comfy beds/pillows/quilts and all spotlessly clean, as are the en-suite facilities. Breakfast is served at a set time agreed with you the evening before and is both well cooked and of good portion size. All positives and no negatives. The guest house is located immediately to the left as you enter the town from the West and the walk to the harbour takes about 20 minutes. All in all a fantastic place to stay and I would be happy to recomend Spindrift Guesthouse to anyone.

Jenni and Mark were great hosts with excellent advice on the town. The room was lovely, spotless. Breakfast was delicious. We could only stay one night but I wish we’d been able to stay longer.

We were greeted by extremely friendly, helpful hosts who showed us around and made us feel very welcome. Our room was bright, pristine and beautifully presented. The honesty bar was lovely to come back to after our meal out. The room is grand and lots of interesting items to look at. Our night stay was very comfortable and peaceful. The breakfast was one of the best cooked breakfasts we have ever had. If your thinking about booking a stay, don't think about it BOOK IT!!!!! You definitely will not be disappointed. Thank you for a lovely stay 😊👌❤️

Our favorite B&B - close to St Andrews
Our stay at the Spindrift Guest House was our favorite across our Scottish travels! Mark and Jennie’s hospitality was amazing and the accommodations were perfect. We took their suggestions for traveling by train into Edinburgh, where to eat in downtown Anstruther, and driving into St Andrew’s. This location was a quick 15-minute drive to the Old Course, which was very convenient since we were going daily to enter the singles draw. The breakfast was lovely, and my husband said the coffee was some of the best he’s had. I highly recommend staying at the Spindrift! 10/10
