The apartment was simple and clean, situated in a peaceful area, just a five-minute walk from the sandy Gerakas Beach, a marine turtle reserve. There was a charming pebble beach nearby, both boasting crystal-clear waters without any jellyfish, thanks to the presence of turtles. Boats are prohibited from approaching these beaches, ensuring a tranquil environment. The bus stop was conveniently located nearby, providing an easy 45-minute ride to Zante. There were also a little market and two tavernas within a one to three-minute walk, offering delicious local dishes at reasonable prices. Pelagia, the hostess, was incredibly attentive to our needs throughout all our stay. She even accompanied us to the bus stop and, on the last day, allowed us to use another apartment to freshen up after our day at the beach, despite our own apartment being prepared for the next guests. I highly recommend this apartment for anyone looking for a serene holiday experience!
