For a once in a lifetime experience to the land of leopards our family had an amazing four days at Bijapur Lodge. Envisioned and brought to life by Vikramaditya Singh Rathod this lodge is a gem located in Bijapur. The care and attention given from the moment we reached by the owner himself and his staff was exemplary. The lodge is serene, beautifully laid out and has all the comforts of a boutique hotel - generous size rooms, courtyards and support facilities. The food was delicious ranging from Indian to Italian. The experiences were very well organised from morning and evening safaris with the leopards to immersing within the landscape and assimilating the local community and people. As a family we were excited for every experience, enjoyed the delicious food, the care of the staff and appreciated the rest and recuperation that the lodge offered. We look forward to visiting many more times in the years to come.

The theme song of White Lotus played in my head as the core staff greeted and bid us farewell at Bijapur Lodge; waving their hands, showering us with rose petals and rose-infused welcome drink. With only 6 cottages, they are able to give personal attention to all the guests. I would like to remember my stay as a heartwarming, soul-gladdening experience laced with great attention to detail and thoughtfulness—the three course meals, barbecue & bonfire nights, the fresh roses and marigold from their garden on the dining table, the handwritten notes, the gifts from local artisans, hot water bags during morning safaris—it’s nothing short of a master class in hospitality directed by the owners Devendra and Vikram Aditya. The other naturalist Dayal Singh is also quite knowledgeable and shared anecdotes about constellations and of course the wildlife. I highly recommend Bijapur Lodge; go there not only for the leopard sightings, but also a glimpse into village life, rustic, vernacular rural interiors, and nice people that we mostly take for granted!

We saw nine leopards on two safaris during our stay including a full family and a mother with three cubs. Guides and drivers excellent. The property is a lovely and peaceful oasis, beautifully designed with attention to detail. Clean, airy, comfortable and spacious accommodations. Extremely attentive staff and delicious Rajasthani meals. They built a bonfire on the patio for us every night. Can't wait to go back.

Rooms are very spacious, very comfortable, large windows that looks on to wild greenery that gives the feel of being in wild untouched territory. The food was great with a lot of variety for different meals. The staff are very obliging, and ever willing to help at any time- warm, and kind. The best were the trackers and the safari experience they provided. We saw a lot of leopards- male female and cubs. Besides the ride is an unforgettable experience - will go back for more. Book without thinking twice
