The peaceful setting offered complete privacy, yet it was just a short drive to the beach, tavernas, and the charming town of Rethymno. It truly felt like the best of both worlds — tranquility with easy access to everything Crete has to offer. The hosts were exceptional — friendly, attentive, and always available to help with local recommendations or anything we needed. You can tell they take great pride in making sure guests have a perfect experience.

Love love love Okeanides Villa Estates! The staff, food, villas, atmosphere and scenery exceptional, so much so we have booked a 28 day stay in 2026 and reserved all 4 villas with friends coming! I’ll return every year, God willing ❤️

We stayed in their Electra Villa which was luxuriously appointed with fantastic ocean and mountain views and facilities with a sauna, pool and sun loungers that is not overlooked for absolute privacy. A fabulous breakfast was brought to us by the hosts every morning consisting of salads melons and traditional Crete dishes and pastries all freshly prepared and cooked every morning. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly and were happy to advise on the best places to go in the area. Close to the villa is a tavern and bar and a small beach with soft sand and clear waters. The villa is also situated near a main road with the small town of Bali only a short drive away providing for a wider selection of bars, resturants and shops and sandy beaches. Overall, Okeanides Villas is in a secure gated compound and is a fantastic place to stay if you want privacy and seclusion with great facilities and cleanliness and situated near the main road for easy access to towns and cities on the island.

Perfect place to relax. Beautiful view, big house, tasty food, amazing pool and very Good customer Service. There are just few Villas Around so you can relax and enjoy this place and beautiful view during your stay. It was amazing time to spend holidays in Okeanidas Villas.

What a fantastic holiday at Villa Elektra! We were amazed by the pool, the spectacular view, the quality of the villa and the number of shower/bath rooms, the facilities such as ping pong table and sauna (not used as the weather was so good). However the unique selling point of this villa is the delivery every morning by Yannis and his team of the most delicious breakfast!! Lovingly cooked by Yannis with fresh local ingredients we were over whelmed by the quality and quantity of delicious food. Eggs cooked every way imaginable, local cretian delicacies, fresh fruit and salads and the divine orange cake and lemon cheesecake. Gogo and Anastasia visit regularly to clean, change towels etc and you feel so well looked after but in an unobtrusive way. The villa is ideally situated to visit some lovely local beaches from the very commercialised to the quiet and secluded, we particularly recommend Evita Bay (Karavostasi) and the Alyki beach. Our grandchildren loved visiting the Aquarium at Heraklion and the Melidoni caves (lovely and cool on a hot afternoon) and the pedalos from Evita Bay. We particularly liked Panormos village for shopping and tavernas but there are a lot of options closer in Bali. You can see and hear the road from the villa but that is a small price to pay for the convenience of being able to get to places and for all that the villa offers not to mention the fantastic sunsets every evening. I do miss them!
