Got to room and outside the room is dead crickets. When we shut the door we can see a giant gap in the door where bugs were coming into the room. The curtain had bugs all over it. When we pulled the covers bag we had a brown stain on the sheets. Also had stains on the towels. We went to the desk to complain to get more sheets. The sheet he gave us had stains on it as well. Under the sink we found a cockroach.

When we arrived we went to check in, it appeared no one was at the desk and no bell to ring. Stood there for a couple minutes finally a woman peaked her head up from behind the counter (it did startle me). Got to our room, a funky smell upon entering but room was clean. Beds were made and very comfortable. Room was on first floor so unpacking was easy as we could park by the door. The AC has some type of timer so it worked funny. As we were in the room we realized the carpet was wet and the AC was dripping. Reported it to the office and we were given a towel to put under the drip. We were offered a different unit but we had already settled in and were only here for a night so chose not to move, was a mistake on our part. Room was not supplied with toilet paper, had to request it and the unit did not have a hair dryer. Found out they did not supply them. Bathroom sink had its own area but had no lights so getting ready for the function we were attending was done in the dark. Lots of noise from others staying in the hotel late into the night. Sounded like a social gathering in the parking lot. Not an ideal stay for us.
