Very spacious room in the lovely village of St Mawes. The hotel is on the sea front. There is a big car park behind it. For cyclist, you may find a bicycle rack in the car park. The evening meal was enjoyable. The service was excellent. For breakfast, you can have cooked breakfast or continental buffet.

We're staying near beautiful St mawes on holiday and the 2 Sundays we've been here we have enjoyed the most scrumptious Sunday roasts...the meat just melts in your mouth and the vegetables are divine. Can't recommend enough.. thank-you to our servers Bridgette & Ellan Xx

We visited The Rising Sun on a dreary rainy day in October, we were hungry and looking for somewhere to eat. The pub was full of families, kids etc and although has lovely decor, the dining area looked like a typical tourist spot that would serve bog standard food, but how wrong could we be. I had mussels in lobster and dill sauce, my husband had Thai chicken curry. Both of these dishes were delicious. I think they were the nicest mussels I ever ate, I could have licked a whole bowl of the sauce (well, I did), and it came with freshly baked focaccia and triple cooked chips. My husband’s curry was alive with lime leaves and bags of flavour. Honestly it was such an unexpected and pleasant surprise that it deserved a review. We will definitely visit again.

We spent a delightful night at The Rising Sun, my husband and I, plus another couple. We were able to book a lovely little cottage behind the pub: one bedroom upstairs with its own bathroom; one bedroom downstairs with an ensuite bathroom, plus a cosy lounge area with tea and coffee facilities, small fridge. The room decor was perfect. We also enjoyed our breakfast. Our previous visit was about 30 years ago, so hope to return sooner next time!

这是我们第二次入住旭日酒店，总体来说非常棒。我们的房间很漂亮，可以看到海港的景色，还设有休息区和餐桌。冰箱里装满了饮料，可以购买，还有一小瓶牛奶可以搭配茶和咖啡。浴室很大，有一个超大的浴缸和一个漂亮的瀑布淋浴，配有艾丽美洗发水、沐浴露和润肤露。房间温馨舒适，如果需要的话，还可以使用戴森暖风机。床很大，很舒服。休息室里有熊熊燃烧的壁炉，非常漂亮，工作人员总体来说非常乐于助人。可惜的是，我们去年体验过的那位厨师离开了，这在食物质量上体现得很明显。第一晚的体验很棒，但第二晚的用餐体验就没那么好了，我们感到很失望。在这种地方，坚持不懈是成功的关键，所以这也是一个需要改进的地方。不过，这不会阻止我们再次光临。虽然我们可能不会每晚都在这里用餐。总的来说，这是一个迷人的住宿地点，我们非常喜欢它。
