We have been travelling to Montalcino for many years and stayed in many hotels and apartments. I would say that Il Palazzo ticks every box of what at least we need. Very central, great breakfast, nice and friendly people (Mara, Gerardo and their team), adjacent restaurant (owned and run by the Il Palazzo owners) that serves local and very tasty and quality food and wine and an excellent wine store just across the street. We know where we will stay next year and the years to come.... Thank you Mara and Gerardo!
