This is a great place to stay to explore eastern Georgia which has some amazing national parks. We had a large room with very comfortable beds, good heating (the weather was very cold during our stay but the room was lovely and warm) and an ensuite shower room. The family who own the guesthouse were very welcoming and it did feel like a home rather than just a place to sleep and eat. We had breakfast and dinner at the guest house and the food was delicious, there was a wide variety of choice including a lovely chicken dish and some really warming and welcome soups. The amount of food provided was very generous and we didn't really feel the need for lunch when we were out exploring. The guest house garden looked really pretty although the weather didn't really allow us to use it. I would definitely recommend a stay at the Savanna Guest House if you are coming to eastern Georgia.

Very cosy and lovely furnished accommodation. You arrive and immediately feel very welcome, as if you were coming home. The food is so delicious and freshly prepared. The host also offers excursions to Vashlovani National Park. This is a unique and unforgettable experience! We were guided through the day with so much knowledge and enthusiasm. Absolutely brilliant! We will come back!

The stay was amazing. Great hospitality and home cooked food. We had a little cottage in the beautiful garden. We took a full-day 4 wheel drive trip into the national reserve that was offered by the owner, highly recommended. The owner was knowledgable and showed us around the beautiful national park.

My adult children and I, as well as other members of our small tour group (organised by Georgia Insight) stayed two nichts in this very nice place. We enjoyed excellent food and the feeling of really being private guests in a family home. As the guest house is on a small village street you can hardly get a more "authentic" Georgina rural life experience. This was a charming little slice of heaven. Our room was huge and immaculate. The beds were comfortable and oh sooo cozy. The communal areas of the main house were tastefully decorated and cozy. The home cooked Georgian meals were ample and delicious. Temo, our host, pulled out all the stops to arrange taxi and guiding services for which we were very grateful.
