The hotel is set in a hillside location with fantastic views over the mountains and the sea. The terrace and pool areas were beautifully kept and plenty of areas for dining, where you could watch the sunset. The food was amazing and very reasonably priced. The breakfast could do with a little more choice, but there was enough to start the day. All the staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Konstantine, Angelina and George, who went the extra mile to make us feel welcome. The accomadation was a traditional house, which included aircon, a welcome addition in 30+degrees ! The kitchen equipment is very limited but not an issue for us as we were on b&b and like to eat out. Approx 30mins to walk down to Stoupa and longer back as up hill all the way. Those less mobile would maybe hire a car, although there are 3 local taxi companies reasonably priced, that we used on occasions. Beware that these taxis can be hit and miss on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays when they do airport runs. Had a lovely stay and would highly recommend.

at first sight everything looks good. The internet worked 2 days out of 7! i had to do some work, being self employed . i was told to sit in the bar and do it! the property i stayed in was over a thousand pound a week. There was a broken mirror, over loaded dangerous sockets. Tired kitchen and we had to ask for clean towels and a change of sheets. sun loungers around pool were dirty and broken. Towels look grubby. The place wasn’t cleaned properly when we arrived they were bits under table , presumably food. on weekend you struggled around the pool for space as the pool is open to locals . That’s fine if there enough space but when you have booked out of season to have a relaxing break , you don’t want to fight for beds or listen to other peoples kids screaming. Anyway if you read this far… the food and location are amazing. The staff , waiters are super nice and friendly. you must have a hire car , luckily we did. the caves of diros are great. so are the roman ruins in messini. limeni is very pretty & so is Aereopolini. lovely place.

Just got home from a holiday at the Maniatiko Village .The Village is about 20mis walk from Stoupa and 45 mins up hill walk to Ag Nik . Great views over the bay lovely chilled vibe excellent food at the restaurant probably the best in Stoupa .Theres a great family taxi service that can take you into Stoupa or Ag Nik and back if you have no car hire €6 each way . The Stone house we had was very clean an spacious with air con and safe no extra cost unlike a lot of places i have stayed in in Greece over the last 50 odd years. The family Maria ,Costas and all the staff were brilliant made you welcome all the holiday .Lovely pools and bar /terrace area .Would definitely return .Only one criticism no Kleftiko or Lamb in the oven on the menu 😂😂

Numerous issues with the accommodation we were given. Only partial air-con when sold as air-con. Safety and security issues. Doors left open, broken and damaged items in villa. Villa service very poor. No garden view. Not sure if we were allocated older accommodation as others seemed better. Only reactive when problems were reported, issues are evident, shame. Would never go again, please check details if booking through UK travel agents.

Our first trip to Stoupa and we were looking for accommodation that offered privacy, was quiet at night but access to town. Maniatiko has it all. Our one bedroom stone house was set in its own plot surrounded by olive trees. The terrace is wonderful to relax for evening drinks or morning coffee. Just the sound of the cicadas. The bed, pillows and sheets are all super comfy and the house has everything you need for a relaxing holiday. Maniatiko is large with lots of houses but it only takes 5 minutes to walk to the pool/restaurant. The pool area is a real showstopper. It feels very spa like. Lots of relaxation places to lie, sit and unwind. The restaurant and terrace overlooking the ocean is heaven. A cocktail as the evening sets in was perfect. My biggest surprise was the quality of the food in the Frigano restaurant. Often eating at the accommodation is a compromise when we feel too lazy to go out! Not here. The menu is inventive yet traditional and everything is seasoned, flavourful and cooked beautifully. This is not average fare. Some of the best food we’ve eaten in Stoupa has been from the Frgano kitchen. So in summary- it’s a bit out of town- we had a car. In the heat of June it’s a bit of a walk. However I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else in Stoupa. Maniatiko offers so much. The staff are fantastic and our welcome has been one to remember. We will absolutely return and would not hesitate to recommend.

Lovely location with fantastic staff at the Frigano. Maria and her team were great and the food was probably the best we have had in the area. We base that on 20 years of visiting experience. Our family stayed in our house in Neochori and we had a special 5 day break at Maniatiko. We will hopefully be back in September.

Maniatiko village is the best accommodation in the area. We have visited the Mani many times and for us the views ,swimming pool and food are outstanding not forgetting the very helpful staff. We did not hire a car as we are keen walkers, but it is a 20 minute walk into stoupa and 25 back as it is up hill .I think the little stone house we stayed in was perfect, lots of room for 2 people plenty of outside space and magnificent views, if its peace and quiet you want this is the place for you. Thanks for a wonderful holiday.
Lola、Julie和Sylvie。
