A gem of a place which has good functional rooms, three in total, breakfast included and a great couple run it with parking outside on the road. Bohemian feel to the place with modern artwork. The kind of place where you feel at home and can cook if you desire or eat in a couple of local restaurants you can walk to from the guest house. Ideal for levada walks close by. Highly recommended.

We resided at three different places during our 9 days stay on Madeira, and must say that the time we spent at the North Coast Guest House was by far the most enjoyable. Andreia and Ruben are the most friendly and inviting people you can imagine and simply open their entire house to their guests. Our accommodation was just great: clean, spacy enough and with a brilliant view on the mountain. The North Coast Guest House is an excellent hub to explore the north coast of Madeira (from Porto Moniz to Porto da Cruz), and also the boca da Encumeada in the centre of the island is very easily reached. In any case, when (not if!) we return to the island, we'll stay with Ruben and Andreia once more.

Our stay in this bungalow was absolutely magical. It’s hidden away in a lush, exotic garden with breathtaking views of the mountains. Waking up to that view from the bed was truly one of the most beautiful sights you could imagine — a little piece of paradise tucked away in nature. The bungalow itself was very clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. Breakfast could use a small improvement, but honestly, no one left the table hungry. Highly recommended for anyone looking for peace, beauty, and a touch of magic.

We stayed 4 nights in São Vicente and absolutely loved it! The location is surrounded by lush greenery, colorful flowers, and beautiful views of the hills and nature all around. We had a double room with a spacious bathroom and shared a kitchen with another couple. The breakfast was varied and could be enjoyed on the terrace as well. Everything was perfect and we truly appreciated our stay. A big thank you to our lovely hosts – until next time!

The rooms are comfortable. The main house is really nice and the garden was amazing. You have beautiful view from the balconies in front of your rooms. The breakfast was excellent and the staff is friendly. If you want to fine some quietness , this is your place.

We loved our stay in this very quaint, comfortable and charming villa/lodge. The grounds were beautiful and the room was simple but elegant. Breakfast was provided and it had a nice assortment of options. We really liked that they also had a refrigerator for quests to grab a beer or wine and pay on the honor system. The walk into the main part of Sao Vicente would have been possible but a little too far unless you were wanting more exercise after hiking all day! The view of the mountains surrounding the lodge/villa was wonderful. We would definitely stay here again.

住宿环境超级舒适温馨，就像家一样！每天早晨的早餐都美味又丰富。按摩浴缸景色绝佳，徒步旅行后泡在里面放松身心真是太棒了。
接待服务差，入口不清晰，房间没有打扫，毛巾没有更换。早餐很差，而且吃完的也没有补充。
