Our stay wasn't the best mostly because of the weather. The only staf i encountered was the house keeper and she was friendly.

Pool was under maintenance (but it's too cold for swimming anyways) so that didn't bother me. For the most part it was peaceful and relaxing (except for the noisy children from the Polar Express - you could easily hear them running and stomping around through the walls)

Upon arrival, we checked in and dropped off our luggage off the motorcycles. Then left to get to our appointment. When we did get to our room, around 6pm, that's when we realized the problems. It was 2 rooms with a bathroom in between them. Nice older motel really. The one bed had a deep soft spot in it. The one room was missing a remote control for TV. The other room the TV didn't work at all. I was promised a discount that night because they couldn't fix the problems. Didn't get it on the bill. They also have a hidden fee. After I reserved the rooms, they said they have a deposit for damage. Nice area out back to sit by the river. But I don't recommend because of lack of upkeep.

I liked Lloyds on the River. Here is what Lloyds is: it is rustic and perfectly fits the mountain vibe of the area. I wanted to avoid the chain motels, and this place is definitely like a mom and pop. Just about every room looks different. My room was very clean with fresh new looking bedding. The walls were a nice rustic paneling.
My one complaint was that the heater/AC unit made a horrible racket. I had to turn it off the sleep, so it got really cold in there. This might be a deal breaker for some folks, but it didn’t bother me that much. It was worth it to stay in a clean and unique motel.

It was the first snow of the season. Found out the bathroom in our room had no heater. It was all tile and pier and beam. It was very cold!!

Bed was comfy and location easy to find, other than that if you dont have a budget and dont want to stay in a fancy hotel stay here. Bathrooms are horrible and rooms are old not updated at all and the A/C was old and full of rust.

I arrived five minutes before the office closed. The young man was friendly and when I was given a key (a KEY!) I was thrilled.
This place is a classic, road side motel. It's old but clean. Nice bed, shower was small but with very hot water, microwave and 'fridge. I had a balcony room right on the river with two rocking chairs.
Both nights I stayed there there were logs burning in a fire pit right next to the river so the sent of a campfire filled the air.
When I turned in my key the young man said he hoped I'd return because "You're family now."
Wonderful, old-school place with a lot of charm.

Needs more curtains DID NOT cover windows complete
Curtains did not completely cover windows nor was back door not fully covered they were a bit skimpy on the side. Room was clean and comfortable for the price not too bad overall but I was not happy about Curtains over window facing parking lot had about 2 to3 inch gap
