We stayed here for five weeks, the apartments are basic but spacious and clean. Spyros the owner visited daily, a lovely friendly man. A lady cleaned each day and towels and sheets changed every three days. We were on the top, third floor so the at the front were sea views and Mountain View’s at the back. To us this was perfect. Parking was fine , but the gates had to be kept closed after entry and exit because of goat vandalism. The gardens were in full bloom during our visit , just beautiful. We could have done with more equipment, only one plate was provided so we bought two and left them there, an extra small saucepan would be good but we managed. Not worth complaining about , I’m sure Spyros would have provided this if we had mentioned it. Just a minor thing and did not affect our stay. Our front balcony is massive and had a small table and two chairs , so a lovely spot for morning tea/coffee to just sit and relax, we had our own alarm clock each morning, when Captain Vangellis left the mooring below on the beach with his ship and clients for the day trips, sounding the horn at 9 am daily. The hill is quite big, if anyone has mobility issues then probably not the place for them, but if you have a car no problem. We loved our time there and would recommend this lovely place. What would make it perfect would be a pool , but don’t think the owner wants the hassle of one.. Shop and restaurant nearby plus in the centre many lovely restaurants and bars,beaches are nearby .

Had a lovely stay at the summer sun, Spyros who owns the place was really friendly and helpful. It’s about a 10 minute walk from town, there is a short steep hill up to the entrance, the views are amazing and as it’s out of the way it is really peaceful. I would highly recommend the summer sun

Great Apartment with large balcony with sea views. Very peaceful setting. The apartment is on a hill but the steep walk is worth the sea views & peaceful surroundings. 10 min walk to supermarket & beach. 15 mins walk to the centre of Skala.

apartment had great views and very well located near the beach and supermarket. The rooms were exceptionally clean. The owners were very friendly and the roses they grow in the garden are gorgeous. They couldnt do enough to help us. The location was good as being out of town a bit, but still some good restaurants to walk to nearby.

Spacious comfortable apartment with large balcony, making for very pleasant evenings over a drink or two, or even dinner if you decide to eat in. One minor "complaint" -after dark the lounge, with a single overhead light, is a bit gloomy. A couple of occasional lights would lift the mood!

2nd visit and just as good as the first. Lovely apartment, very friendly owners. The apartments are in a good location up a hill. Ideal spot for us with just a short walk into the centre. Booked already for our 3rd visit. Lovely quiet location with breath taking views. Highly recommend

We have just returned from a 10 day stay at Summer Sun apartments in Skala, Kefalonia. I cannot recommend it enough! We stayed in the larger apartment which had a large living area with two beds and a separate bedroom with a double bed. Also in the apartment was a fairly spacious bathroom with a proper shower cubicle (virtually unheard of in Greece) and a good kitchen area. We arrived to be greeted by Tony and were shown to a spotlessly clean apartment which was so well equipped. Everything you could have needed including a double ringed hob, extractor fan and so many kitchen accessories even a cheese grater and toastie maker! The maid was excellent. The views from the first floor (huge) balcony were just breath taking. Sea views and very, very peaceful. Set in beautiful gardens (before the local goat herd demolished the flowers on our last morning ). Only two things could have made an excellent stay perfect. 1. The hillside up to the apartment was very steep but probably made to feel worse as we were in the middle of a heatwave. If you are reasonably fit, it was no problem but if you struggle with hills, you might get a bit overwhelmed. 2. A pool would be a fabulous addition to otherwise great accommodation. There seems to be plenty of room for one and it would be the cherry on the top. We found a pool to use on the beachfront so it didn't spoil it one bit to be honest. We would visit again in a heart beat - fabulous little place :)

公寓非常干净，每天都有清洁工来打扫，真是锦上添花。清洁工做得太棒了。露台的景色美极了，早晨一边喝咖啡一边欣赏海景真是太惬意了。公寓地理位置优越，路的尽头就是海滩，那里有一家超市和一家很棒的咖啡馆。公寓比我想象的要小，我之前也没想到客厅里竟然有两张加床。我之前误以为公寓有两间卧室。早上泡茶/咖啡会打扰到正在睡觉的人。对于我和我丈夫来说，爬上公寓的山坡还好，因为我们都喜欢健身，但对于老年人、残疾人或身体不健康的人来说可能有点挑战性。床垫太硬，床也不舒服。
