TV didn't work... missed the end of the world series game. Fridge didn't work, 3 days without replacing tissue paper even though the empty box was displayed prominently. Power outage, and nobody could explain. No coffee downstairs, no coffee cups downstairs. Service at the hotel bar was almost nonexistent. Paid a lot of money to enjoy a supposedly high end downtown hotel and was thoroughly disappointed.

The hotel’s location was great, and it honored requests for early check-in and late check-out. However, the cleanliness of the room was a major issue. Upon arrival, there was trash on the floor, including an old used band-aid, and the carpet had visible stains, one of which looked like oatmeal rubbed into the fibers. The sconce bulb was out but was fixed after contacting guest services, and the bathroom sink, which was leaking, was repaired after another call to guest services the next day. I was informed the bar was closed midday due to staffing shortages, and on the final day, there was no hot water for a shower. The staff was cordial but seemed disengaged, offering no extra effort, and Marriott status went unacknowledged. Despite high ratings on Bonvoy Marriott and *******, my family’s experience fell far short of expectations. The aesthetics and decor didn’t match the service we received.
