Excellent and plentiful choice at breakfast, the buffet dinner is fully satisfying, the food is delicious. Kind and helpful staff. The rooms are clean, well equipped and comfortable, the terrace room has a beautiful view of the castle. Our bathroom was a bit small in my opinion.

Perfect place to learn about Hungarian history, and enjoy delicious taste, food. Friendly, and professional staff. Lot of program where you can spend your free time, or have qctive relaxant time. The staff have traditional customes, and they are really friendly. Near to the hotel have traditional program with horses, where they show you a part of the Hungarian history.

I spent a long weekend there with my family to celebrate my birthday, and it was a very lovely experience. The place is beautiful and right next to the sumeg castle, the hotel staff were all friendly and helpful, especially with the food due to intolerance/being vegan. I also got a bottle wine from them on my birthday without even telling them about it, which was really thoughtful. I would recommend the place to anyone who's looking for medieval vibes and relaxing.

I personally like quiet places. This hotel has been quite busy with a lot of families and other middle-class people. Service is exceptionally professional: at every possible encounter fast, perfectly polite and helpful. The hotel itself is also well-designed for the public it serves. Pricing is also exactly corresponding to service received. The inner court may be a little crowded, we have been before the main season where one pool was already filled with water and we could cool ourselves in it after the sauna. A weird minus point is that the small pond in the sauna area is filled with warm water. Also, in the room, the curtains did not really blind light so the morning sun may wake you up. Dinner and breakfast were both enjoyable; not high cuisine but well composed so that both adults and kids can have a good meal. Combined with the nice little town of Sumeg, the castle, the hiking trail nearby, this place can be especially recommended for families with kids. Congratulations to the fantastic team, in terms of service, this place is a rare gem in Hungary.
