This place is wonderful! Our family, totally 9 people, stayed here for 2 nights. We had a tent place. What made it great: the view, the facilities, the staff. The common kitchen and bathrooms and toiletts were clean and nice. The staff were friendly and helpful. I will recommend this place to anyone who asks me about a good camping place.

I recently stayed at Sandviken Camping, and it was an amazing experience! The location is absolutely beautiful, surrounded by nature with stunning views. The facilities were clean and well-maintained, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Whether you're into hiking, fishing, or just relaxing by the water, this place has something for everyone. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway 😊

Sandviken camping offered just everything we wanted for our tent trip. It was all over clean, nice facilities for the showers and restrooms, free use of kitchen with everything you needed, smiling and service minded staff, and plenty of stuff for kids aged 6 and 8 years to do. Tinnsjøen is cold... but with slide and trampoline in the water at the beach...it is just to get in the water! Ice-cream and a little menu to pick from at the front desk saves you from making dinner that one night you do not want to. A short 15 minutes walk through the forest (1km) leads you to grocery and bakery in Austbygde. Sandviken is perfectly located for daytrips to all the exciting places in the area. We will highly recommend this campsite!
