I stayed at the Banana Lodge for two nights with my son. Anna is an attentive host and helped us to line up a tour guide and taxis. She also provided excellent dining recommendations. We had a two bed room that was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was clean and well stocked with soap, shampoo etc etc. The room had AC and a ceiling fan which we appreciated! Misahuallí had some intermittent power outages and Anna kept us informed of when the power would be out. During the power outages we opened the windows for the breeze. A candle was provided which we also used during the outages. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful! Coffee, juice, bread, fruit and eggs. I highly recommend you try Anna’s homemade preserves- delicious! I hope to make it back to Misahualli with my husband and I will definitely stay at the Banana Lodge again!

This was set in a wonderful location with access to the river you can swim in. The rooms were great and the hosts very helpful and friendly. Highly recommend this place. The garden was also stunning and breakfast was very good

This is a very clean hotel right on the river in the Amazon. The breakfast which is included is excellent and the service is very good. Ana Is very good at finding could guides to take you to interesting cultural places. Excellent value! This is a short walk into town.
