We booked the Woodlands hotel spalding for our wedding venue as you can have the ceremony,wedding breakfast and evening party all at the hotel plus some of our guests booked rooms and stayed at the hotel. We visited the hotel and met Gan who made us feel very welcome and comfortable talking about our plans. We chose the hog roast package because it includes room hire. Disco. Bridal suite and hog roast for our evening guests and added a wedding breakfast for the ceremony guests. Our ceremony was at 2pm followed by fotos while Gan and his team layed out the tables for the breakfast then tea and coffee in the bar and reception area while they changed the room ready for evening guests. The service and food for the breakfast meal was amazing. Everyone got served at the same time and the food was outstanding. Gan and his team made sure everything ran smoothly. The evening guests started to arrive 7pm ish and the room was set out ready for them. Hog roast served at 8pm again the food was served in an organised way so we can have our 1st dance 9pm ish followed by the drinking and dancing. The day exceeded all our expectations and I can't thank or speak highly enough of Gan and his team. If you are looking for a venue for any occasion speak with Gan and visit the hotel I am sure you won't be disappointed.

We had our father’s wake at the Woodlands hotel. We received excellent courteous service. They couldn’t do any more for us if they tried the food was fresh & amazing and the hospitality at its finest. Drinks were constantly refilled and the service was impeccable. Your team helped to make a hard day much better, thank you so much. It was first class with all allergies and intolerances catered for with no stress. From giving bags to take some delicious food home to then deliver surplus to the homeless. Thoughtful and respectful in every way.

What a fantastic experience, the Woodlands was booked for our daughters wedding, and we couldn't fault it, from the planning meetings through to breakfast the following day everything was perfectly organised and carried out. Gan and the team were outstanding and provided great food, drink and atmosphere, it was all so professional and they made it run so smoothly, The hog roast was tasty and plentiful. We had our wedding in August 2025. Honestly, Gan, Nicky, Janey and the team couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful. From Friday set up, to the wedding Saturday to breakfast on Sunday nothing was too much trouble. They ensured the wedding ran smoothly and on time for us and our guests. We can't thank you enough xx

Wow where do I start! We had our wedding at the Woodlands Hotel this weekend and it was perfect from the moment we got there Friday to set up until we left on Sunday after breakfast. Gan and his team couldn’t have done enough for us, it was all organised and everything we had asked for had been done without us having to ask. The team were accommodating to all of our guests and everyone commented on how perfect the day had gone. We will never be able to thank Gan and his team enough for all they have done to make our wedding day one of the best days of our life. Definitely recommend and we will be back! Thank you all!

We had our wedding at the Woodlands Hotel on 28th June this year. Right from our first meeting with Gan, he could not have been more helpful. This also goes for the rest of the hotel staff. All guests commented that it was a perfect wedding. Every little detail is taken care of by a very professional Gan and his team. Nothing was left to chance. Thanks Gan and your team for making it a day to remember!!

The Woodlands Hotel owner allowed my Veteran members to park their cars in their Car Park whilst we went on a trip to a museum in London. On our return we all went into the Hotel for a drink where Gan and his amazing staff offered us Scampi Chips and Peas, saying it was no trouble. His wonderful staff made us very welcome, as we all decided to stay. The white table cloths and prestige napkins came out and we all sat and ended our day together over a meal and a drink. Nothing is ever too much trouble for the Staff at The Woodlands Hotel, this is not the first time this has happened and no doubt it won’t be the last. NOTHING has ever been too much trouble for these amazing people. THANK YOU Gan and Staff for being you and helping us to end our day together, no one wanted to go home to cook!! X
