I’m 6-4 my lads 6-5 so the single beds did not make for a comfy night -they was only complaint , easy check in, Ted was welcoming and friendly … room was basic but met needs with large en-suite and fresh towels !! Great shower so all good plus an easy remembered code to get in later from pub -cheers Ted !

What a brilliant youth hostel! I took my great nephew, and he loved it too. On arrival, you can't help notice the amazing setting. The host was very friendly and kind. We couldn't believe how well-furnished the room was for a hostel, the bed very comfortable, powerful shower, and the view was incredible. Very clean, with a pleasant atmosphere.

Perfectly comfy for a single night. We stayed in a shared room, but found that there were enough facilities to go around even though most rooms were full at the time of our visit. We opted for the included dinner: 1 x Curry, and 1 Pizza, with both being perfectly tasty and a good size for a budget option. Lucky enough to spot some deer outside, and the hostel itself is a stones throw from the ferry back to the mainland.

Brilliant stay, can't fault the staff - friendly & helpful! Window has a blackout blind so you don’t need an eye mask. Breakfast was a bit pricy (£5.95) for continental breakfast but worth it. As for Female shower room - it would be nice to have a wet area & dry area separated by a door to make changing a little easier. Other than that, a very good hostel.

Wow, this is a really nice hostel. I went with my 11 year old daughter and we both thought it was a gorgeous, quite hostel. It is in the most stunning postcard worthy spot and only about a 20 min drive from Brodick. The staff are very helpful and friendly.

This hostel is excellent, my partner and I stayed here at the end of June both in a private room and dorm rooms due to availability. We really enjoyed our stay, the hostel staff are super friendly and we felt they went above and beyond. The hostel itself is really well equipped, we cooked some of our meals and found the kitchen had everything we needed. The lounges are relaxing and there is a laundry area too - we used the washing machine and drying room and found it really practical. We also ordered the 'wee breakfast' for 2 of the mornings which were very good value for money.

This is without doubt the best Guest House we have stayed in. The rooms are well appointed and tastefully furnished. The evening menus were imaginative and delicious. The breakfasts varied, tempting and in the case of “Overnight Oats” a special treat. Our hosts were welcoming, thoughtful and good humored. Of course the scenery is rugged and breathtaking but that was just the icing! Must go back.
