We booked this hotel last minute as we had concerns about our previous hotel being unsafe. We (me and one friend we are both 18) had a smooth check in and were excited about staying here l. However, as the days progressed, there was more and more wrong with the hotel. The shower flooded, the shower head did not stand up in its holder, housekeeping entered the room of their own accord and do not knock (I was not fully clothed when this happened). Additionally, we experienced 7 power cuts in the time we were staying there, the room smelt of sewage, the toilet would not stop droning, the wifi was intermittent, the air conditioning broke frequently, we are provided sheets for the bed instead of duvets and the hair dryer also did not work. We went to reception to try and get these issues resolved, however they were adamant that we were making all of these things up. They finally came to check our room and realised they needed at technician to fix it. They managed to fix the toilet which we were grateful for. The following day, we went to charge our phones and the entire plug socket blew up. There was sparks and a burning smell as well as the socket itself going brown. This was extremely scary for us so we went to reception who decided that we did need to move room. We had no help transferring into the new room and were left to sort it ourselves. In addition to this, housekeeping does not change your sheets they only give you new towels which was a problem for us as our sheets were dirty with sunscreen from previous days. The locks are the doors are extremely stiff which is annoying especially if your hands are slippy from suncream. I am not a pedantic person, however these accumulation of issues made our stay extremely uncomfortable. In saying this, the pool was nice and clean and we enjoyed visiting it daily. The location is excellent and only 5 mins walk from the port. This hotel was not worth the money we paid for it and overall I am extremely disappointed.
