We haven’t stayed here and won’t judging by the reviews ! However, we can vouch for the Weinerschitzels in the restaurant. Someone in the kitchen cooks them rather well ! , tasty, tender pork, crisp breadcrumbs, crunchy fresh chips. Locals don’t read the menu, they go for the Weinerschnitzels! BUT and it’s a big but, the manager has unfortunately suffered a loss - she’s lost her smile and is bad tempered with no social graces. what a shame that she has no joy in life. The cheery, efficient waitress did her best to keep the atmosphere positive !

Something rare awaiting here: Simply a no nonsense old style Danish "kro"-experience. Here there is no helpless flirting with updating the old style Danish "kro". Authentic is the best word to capture the essence of this place, included location. This is no retreat, a "kro" is a along-the-road-business - and comes with the sounds and sights typical for that environment. The place is well kept, clean and staff is forthcoming. Food is solid and well made and without cuisine pretentious stupidity. Rooms are spacious and comfortable, well equipped, and nothing fancy.

Nice place with a view spoilt by a large industrial site. Somewhat dated but very charming. Convenient parking and what you expect from a kro, nothing more. Fast internet connection. Breakfast served at the table, not the best variety. Comfortable for a single night or on business, not for holidays.
