Super welcome from very friendly owners. Very clean and comfortable room, quite and with everything you could need. Great breakfast to start the day and plenty of advice on places of interest. Had a wonderful stay in a great area to visit the historic sites of WWI. Could not have hoped for more.

Just loved this BNB. Heidi and Dirk are delightful people. As a bonus Dirk is a battle field guide and went the extra mile to help me retrace grandad's footsteps during WW1. We spent an entire day touring with Dirk and it was a day we will always remember. The room at the BNB was equally delightful - clean and quiet with a comfortable bed and great shower. The village of Zonnebeke makes a great base for visiting war memorials. Apart from that it is a very pretty place with beautiful parks and one of the best war museums in the area. Furthermore it has the advantage of being close to Ypres for those wishing to explore further afield and experience the Last Post performance at the Menin Gate. Zonnebeke is far enough away however to provide a more rural, typically Belgian experience. I cannot recommend this place more highly.
