We always enjoy both Sidmouth and a stay at Hunters Moon. Beautiful surroundings in a peaceful location. Comfortable rooms and delicious food. We always feel welcomed.

Why is it 2 star? It was so lovely. We had a reservation at another hotel ,which unfortunately didn't work out. We managed to get a room at the Hunters moon. It was delightful. The young lady and man on reception were great. We evening had a lift into Sidmouth as not to miss are table. The room was spacious clean,lovely comfort with the bed The gardens are superb. So enjoyed the stay Breakfast wonderful. Will stay here again. Would be wonderful if they had some hot tubs,sauna and steam rooms . Really enjoyed it. Thanks for making are stay so pleasant you need to have at least 3 ⭐ Thank you to all of the staff. Especially Jacob and Luna.

It was last minute, staff made us very welcome, room clean and roomy, evening meal offered if required. Good breakfast, all in all I would definately go there again, and have recommended several couples to go there. Hotel was in nice grounds, steady walk into Sidmouth parking as well

Christmas at Hunters Moon was perfect. The accommodation, service, staff, cleanliness, atmosphere, all top notch. The hotel was in an excellent position for flat walking to the promenade and town. We will definitely go again.

Beautiful well kept building in ideal location with friendly, helpful owner and staff who were always attentive. The room was spacious, warm, clean and quiet with a large shower room. Very good breakfast and there's plenty of parking. Good value all round and I would certainly stay again.

Top class hotel, a warm welcome awaits, spotless warm rooms, food was out of this world, cream tea to die for freshly made scones with lashings of fresh cream and Jam a perfect stay and so close to sidmouth just perfect, highly recommended we will return next year , lovely people x
