What a fantastic hotel! The room with a wonderful sea view was so clean and comfy! The breakfast was excellent and also the food we had in the restaurant and room service was too! The staff are so lovely, they are friendly, always smiling and nothing too much trouble! They are all worthy of a mention but especially Ollie!

The house was absolutely beautiful, very clean and really well kitted out, including a very sturdy travel cot. The staff at the hotel were really helpful, bringing over a sunshade for us on request. It's lovely to have the hotel bar so close and the views from both the bar and the house is exceptional. My only criticism is that it is presented as baby and toddler friendly, yet no stair gates are provided. It would be really cheap to buy pressure fit universal stair gates (I know the staircases are bespoke but adjustable size gates are easy to come by) to offer reassurance to parents of toddlers, especially as the living area has a flight of stairs up and down.

This hotel is Gwbert's gem with spectacular views overlooking the bay and estuary, the hotel is of a high standard and not far to travel into Cardigan if you wanted to take a trip there. The hotel has lifts and stairs so suitable for those with mobility needs. We took advantage of the January Blues Break, amazing value for money. We had a warm welcome and all the staff were very helpful and professional. An extra special thank you to Elaina on reception who was very friendly and went over and above to make our stay special and enjoyable, she is an absolute credit to her profession and the hotel. The hotel is spotlessly clean, thank you housekeeping, and the rooms are beautifully presented and comfortable. We ate at the Flat Rock Bar & Restaurant, our compliments to the chef(s) as the food was hot, beautifully cooked, plentiful and tasted scrumptious. This is our third stay at the Hotel and we are already looking forward to our fourth. We would highly recommend this hotel.

An excellent three night stay at this small but impressive hotel. We took the opportunity of securing the Winter Warmer option on offer and selectively chose the best room in the hotel for our three night stay. Extremely comfortable room with bags of space in both the bedroom and bathroom with superb views out of our window overlooking the bay. Has to be said that Gwbert lies outside Cardigan but the quiet location suited us (retired) and the associated Flat Rock Bar and Restaurant had a decent and varied menu to meet our wants and needs. Would add that the staff were most welcoming and helpful throughout. Definitely worth a visit.

Just visited the Gwbert Hotel, Cardigan restaurant. The food was amazing and reasonably priced. We had a lamb casserole and an additional menu curry dish. Both were tasty and the portions were very filling and satisfying. The staff were very friendly and attentive, particularly Gethin, who after being asked to ask the chef for the ingredients of the curry dish, went out of his way to write them down for me! We will definitely be making a return trip to the hotel and stay there for another no doubt fantastic meal! I would definitely recommend the hotel for its location, cleanliness, customer service and above all food.

Stayed here one night . Room was small but clean . Bed was comfy and shower was great . Meal was amazing . My daughter and I both vegan , she had sweet potato and tomato curry and it was lovely, I had the lasagne and it was so good . Salad was lovely as well. Great coffee and nice breakfast.

Just had a wonderful one night break at the Gwbert hotel for my birthday .We had an excellent double room overlooking the sea. The room's have load's of room and are well equiped with everything you need. We had a beautiful roast dinner in the evenig and an excellent breakfast next morning The food is brilliant and so is the hotel and the staff cannot be more helpful.Definetly a superb place to stay and cant wsit till next time.

I have just returned from the Gwbert Hotel and once again had an exceptional experience from start to finish. The hotel itself is spotless, comfortable and welcoming but what made the stay is the outstanding staff. A special thank you to Anthony, who is incredible at his job and went out of his way to make sure everything was perfect. Iona & Danny & the young girl on reception provide an outstanding service and always with a smile. Anthony and his team clearly take great pride in their work and it shows in every interaction. We will defintely be returning and highly recommend gwbert hotel to anyone looking for a genuinely enjoyable stay.

We hired two Bungalows owned and managed by Gwbert Hotel for our large to celebrate our 40 year wedding anniversary and my 65th year. The bungalows were both very nice and clean and all the comforts of home on site. Two very minor issues, in the smaller bungalow one of our party was unable to sleep due to a consistent knocking noise from above the bedroom….she reported this and was told that someone would visit, disappointingly no one did so she had to sleep in another room with her young daughter. We were notified before arriving that there was work going on in a neighbouring property, however we didn’t expect this to be directly opposite our larger bungalow and with workmen arriving on site at 8am and using hammer drills, mixers and other machinery from very early doors wasn’t really what one would want on holiday….but we lived with it. Lastly Gwbert make a big thing asking guests not to use the hot tub after 10pm and to respect other adjacent holidaymakers…..but between our two bungalows we had a house with a party in who thought it was fine to shout, giggle and make general noise well after 10.30pm…..not really ideal when we had three under 3 year old children in our properties I have emailed Gwbert with my constructive comments, I would add not a complaint, but have heard nothing back which is a little disappointing but I guess they are busy. On the whole though, very impressed and lovely area, food and drink in the hotel itself was excellent. Views are stunning! Highly recommend if they can address these small shortcomings

We had a 2 night stay in the Gwbert hotel which was just what we needed. It was a very relaxed vibe. The staff were amazing, very hard working and efficient. We had a lovely large room, overlooking the sea, which was clean and modern. The food in the restaurant was very good and well priced, plus the martinis of various types went down well! Already looking to book again, have thoroughly enjoyed.
