This place is quite special, made so by the excellent hosts. We were welcomed with a smile and a quick check in. The rooms are basic and clean and more than adequate the whole property displays good maintenance and a pleasant aesthetic. Alia and Anwa are great hosts (even putting our washing under cover for us in the early hours when a storm swept in!) nothing was too much trouble from booking our taxi back to the ferry to surprising us with Malay breakfast’s in the morning. The property is obviously loved and well looked after it is just down the road from 2 beaches and the main drag (far enough so you are not disturbed by the noise) hornbill feeding us just 100 yards away. The hosts provide filtered hot and cold water and a toaster with free Marge and jam if you want it. It’s worth mentioning that when locals asked where we were staying they all raised an eyebrow and nodded in recognition of a good choice

We found this place at the last minute and were very lucky as it is absolutely delightful. It is a small property (eight individual chalets/cottages), located in a quiet road 3 minutes from the beach. Everything is immaculately clean and the gardens that surround are pristine. The overall vibe is one of calmness and tranquility. Alia and her family obviously take immense pride in it and could not be more welcoming and helpful. Highly recommended.
