I loved it here, rooms spotless and quiet, good bed, good shower, nuns friendly, dinner excellent, lovely wine, I would highly recommend and I will return, best place I stayed in on my camino journey, nice garden at the side too, very relaxing

We visited the Cistercian Chapel and learned that the nuns had a hotel nearby which helps to fund the convent and keep the buildings in good order. Lunch is served at 2.15 and you can book in advance. We were ushered into a quiet refectory simply decorated and laid for lunch. We had a very tasty 3 course lunch with a choice of meat for main course. Water and a bottle of wine under the hotel's own label were included with the food all for a modest price of 14 euro each. This was all cooked and served by the nuns. Overall, a very nice experience and all in a good cause. The nuns also sell their own small sweet cakes which we would recommend.
