The hotel was dirty. Floors were dirty. Bathroom was still dirty. The microwave was dirty .. all they did was make up the beds. It was awful and my family couldn’t wait to get out of there.

I checked in for two nights and left to go shopping. Came back later and as I sat down on the bed, I saw a bug. I googled it, and it showed to be a bed bug. I took the bug to office and showed the man, he acknowledged it was bed bug. Wanted to move me to another room. I refused and asked for full refund. He would only refund one night as I had been checked in for three hours, even though room was not used in any way. Terrible customer service and disgusting room. I looked in cracks around mattress and there were more bugs. Room 123 in Palestine, TX. I shall contact Wyndham and ******* also, and will also be in contact with Health Department of Palestine.

Upon arrival it was discovered there were bed bugs on the rooms wexhad rented and theyvwould not cancel with a refund.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. We did have a problem with out first room of not having the bed made,or towels in the room. When we got the second room, the keys didn't work, so they had to come and open it for us.
At breakfast, there wasn't milk for the cereal, and the yogurt machine did not keep the yogurt cold and was not edible.

Property seems to be going downhill with poor maintenance. Been staying here every fall a few years now and just gets worse and worse. Tighten the tables up so they arent a wobbly mess. Separate the smoking/non smoking rooms. Throw away expired breakfast foods. Fix broken bathroom shelves. This used to be a clean low cost option in palestine.

Our bedding didn't seem to be changed or cleaned. Like they just remaid the beds after someone was here. The cleanliness is something to be desired. The walls doors floor everything is dirty grime on them. We had cockroach and ants in our room. Front lobby was not friendly apon arrive. Hardly said one word to me. Hospitality was lacking here. The breakfast was not appealing. The yogurt had a weird taste like it had been sitting out. they had a basket of old fruit left out to offer guests. So the only safe option we had to eat was dry cereal. I would not recommend anyone to stay here
