This place was special. It’s situated in an abandon hotel project. Edouardo and his wife were very helpful. There was no hot water in the bubble but we were able to us the shower from another cabine. All in all a good experience. There’s no cell phone connection in the last km to the site which made it difficult to access. Also, there was alot of wind which made it challenging to sleep.

The property is secluded from all the small towns in the island but offers silence peace and comfort in the zone that it is located. The space was perfect for a family vacation of 5 people. I would recommend this property if staying in La Gomera for longer than 2 nights to make it worth your while.

I am writing the review i wish i read before making a reservation in bubble Avalos. 1-the location: we did not mind how difficult the access was because we were looking forward to a retreat in a secluded spot. To our great deception, the secluded spot turned out to be a travellers caravans site. The beach was littered and we really stood out amongst the travellers enjoying beers and herbal cigarettes. 2-The bubble: unfortunately, the main hotel chalet has a window overlooking the bubble. It compromises the intimacy we expected for our romantic weekend. We felt uncomfortable someone could be watching us freely at any moment. We understand it is not the hotel s fault but it was an absolute furnace inside despite the air conditioning so we had to keep the bubble covered during the day. It is a greenhouse, We found out the Avalos Bay is an impressively windy spot. The bubble didn’t feel like adequate shelter especially at night when trying to sleep. Some gusts of wind were seriously frightening. Last but not least, there s no mobile network coverage in the whole area. No calls can be made or received (you can more or less connect to the wifi from the chalet). We were quite disheartened coming back. Our special romantic weekend turned out to be a succession of disappointments. We love the bubble concept but Avalos bay is just the wrong spot for it! Stephanie was very attentive and kind but there was not much she could do(her food was lovely). Now we understand why their Tenerife bubble is fully booked unlike the Avalos one and we regret so much we did not plan to go there instead! Anyway, we hope we can help other couples make an informed decision for their special occasion.
