I will definitely return to this Hotel . Very clean , very good value for your money , and the Breakfast is to be one of the reasons you stay . Good old fashioned Full Breakfast, with black pudding and Haggis, toast and Orange juice, with tea or coffee. Thanks so much for the warm welcome , see you in 2026.

Very clean room. Rob very welcoming and efficient. The breakfast was delicious and great choice. There is parking is ample at the front of the property but more parking at the rear.

My single en suite room was spacious, clean, and attractive, with a wardrobe, desk, and plenty of room for storing my things. The hosts were friendly and cooked a delicious hot breakfast each day, with several menu choices. It was nice to chat with other guests over breakfast in the bright, attractive dining room. There was also a nice common sitting room with comfortable furniture, tea, and snacks. The house is located on a busy road, but there is ample parking for several guests out front. My room was at the side, and the traffic quieted at night, so it wasn't a bother as far as sleeping. The guest house is a half mile walk to town with one grocery store and two take-out places (pizza and Chinese/Scottish fish) along the way. If you're heading somewhere close to the south bridge, you can walk along the riverfront path, which is nice. The two taxi services I used to get to and from the bus / train were punctual and friendly; that's an easy option if you don't want to walk or have heavy luggage. All in all, this was a friendly, clean, and attractive place and a good value for the solo traveler.

The owners were very nice. The breakfast was great. Beds were comfortable. We were directly on a busy road, with our room facing it. The owners have additional window coverings which helped greatly with traffic noise. Would stay here again!

Experienced staff. Tasty breakfast, elegantly presented and just the right amount. You can even have hagis and black pudding! Comfortable bed. New bathroom. Walkable to town. Well worth the stay.
