Stayed 3 nights for a local wedding and to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. The food was amazing, breakfast, lunch and dinner! The room was spacious and clean and with a comfortable bed. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would absolutely recommend and hope to return some day.

Great food and nice experience after the ghastly Kings Arms where we went last Sunday! Great seeing my youngest daughter and grandaughter to celebrate my wife’s special birthday. We had the Pork, Beef and the Nutroast and all were simply perfect. The cauliflower cheese was probably the best we have ever tasted. We have given a perfect score for the food. What could improve is the service. Would like to have seen smiley faces, a warm welcome and somebody to ask if the food was Ok. I don’t agree with the 10% service charge either. I always tip for good service but don’t think this should be expected. These small issues could easily be improved on and next time we visit (and we will) I am confident the team will be more in keeping with what is customary

Bar staff and managers couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. Lovely courtyard and views from the coach house rooms were beautiful. Service at breakfast was a bit slow, considering how few guests were eating at one time. Pigeon mess on a bedroom window was pretty bad and had obviously been ignored for a while.

I was treated to dinner by my family in here. Although slightly pricey, the staff were all wonderful and the food was so tasty and cooked to perfection. Pigeon for starters fllowed by fillet of beef. Nice. You definitely get what you pay for and yes, I would definitely go again.

We dined here last Saturday having heard great reviews from friends. Every part of our meal was just fantastic and shows the skill of the talented kitchen team. My wife had the vegetarian option (artichoke) and was blown away by the flavours, likewise with my fish and my sons duck. Our lovely waitress for the night was Anna who was very professional and efficient, she is an asset to the business. We will return.

We had a really lovely evening from the moment we arrived. The staff were friendly and looked after us well in a relaxed atmosphere. The food was outstanding and we really loved the dishes we chose which included cheese soufflé, scallops and perfectly cooked filet of beef. The cozy decor, and warmth made it an ideal spot to unwind. We stayed overnight in the coach house had an extremely comfortable bed, the room overlooking the valley. The Queens Arms cooked breakfast was a perfect finale. We are already looking forward to our next visit. What a gem!

We arranged to stay to celebrate my father's 80th birthday. The team were amazingly helpful in facilitating the surprise and we were spoilt with complimentary fizz to start our delicious meal! Our cottage style accomodation was gorgeous, absolutely perfect for a family break. Fab breakfast to finish off an excellent stay! We will be back

I spent a sunny afternoon throwing toy blocks at my siblings and sipping my water. After stinging my leg with a nettle, took it like a champ! I had some of daddy’s fries which were divine, compliments to chef JP and team. Not a bad nights sleep and then the most delicious toast the next morning. Big shout out to Teagan.

A simply lovely place in a beautifully peaceful location that never fails to deliver. We have stayed and dined here previously on our journeys from East London to Devon and Cornwall and always found it to the perfect place for a rejuvenating rest away from the rigours of the road. On a Summer’s day the courtyard tables are just what you need but the inside dining is just as elegant too. I can only commend this place - find it via your sat nav - tis a little bit tucked away off the A303, but very well worth it!
