From the moment you arrive, the gracious hosts, Linda and Aidan, ensure that every detail of your stay is thoughtfully, discreetly curated. I would like to emphasise their exceptional hospitality, nothing is too much trouble - they are both amazing warm and friendly hosts who go above and beyond to make their visitors feel at home. The rooms are beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, and equipped with good quality linens and amenities. The 8 component home cooked breakfast at Harrabeer is a delight, with a huge variety of top quality , locally sourced ingredients. The menu caters to diverse dietary requirements, featuring homemade breads, and marmalades. Everything was good, from the marmalade glazed sausages, to the homemade wild garlic sodabread, particulary enjoyed by one of our friends. One highlight for me was the animated conversation with fellow guests at the communal breakfast table. A nice way to start the day. The location is ideal for exploring the natural beauty of Dartmoor and the surrounding areas. In every aspect, Harrabeer Country House exemplifies the best of English countryside hospitality. Whether you’re seeking a peaceful retreat or an adventure in the moors, this charming B&B offers an unforgettable stay that leaves you eager to return.

We stayed one night, just cycling through. It has new owners who were very friendly. The place is lovely, a nice garden to sit in the summer, very quiet and peaceful and a lovely interior. It was a big breakfast. We paid £110, for not the biggest twin room by any means, but the room was very well appointed and the coffee bags and biscuits a nice touch.

Lovely self catering converted barn The Hayloft fully equipped for your stay. Had best night's sleep. Local shops and good pub within walking distance and great cycling routes on the doorstep . The hosts were very welcoming and informative about the area. It was a lovely relaxing break. You will not be disappointed.

Lovely two night stay in room 5. This lovely hotel has had a full refurb and it's so fresh and modern. Top tip - make sure you pop into to the downstairs bathroom - the wall paper is just divine. Nicky has got such an idea for detail and the breakfast was perfect. I have a tomato allergy and am always worried. No worries at all here. She catered perfectly for me .

We stayed in The Threshing Barn apartment - and everything was spot on - very clean and tidy, quiet, well-equipped, spacious and comfortable - we could not have asked for more. The owner was friendly and informative. Yelverton is well-placed for this corner of the moor, and has useful local facilities, too. We really appreciated our brief stay, and wish we could have had longer. Thank you.
