Thank you for the hospitality and kindness you offered to my wife and I over this past weekend.  Everyone  on the staff of Buntes Haus went above and beyond what is normally expected, even at a hotel known for its excellent service. Anja at the reception desk saved us hours by allowing us to use the hotel as a drop off point to ship our package back home, plus taking care of all the shipping details.  Very  much appreciated and very much unexpected! On our way to the hotel at the beginning of our stay, I had inadvertently left a small piece of luggage on the bus. (It contained a cpap machine).   Upon us leaving Buntes Haus, the staff offered to drive us to the bus station in Olbernhau to check if it had been turned in.  It had not surfaced  at that particular bus station and I thought the luggage was lost at that point.  Marcel, our hotel driver,  wouldn’t give up and took it upon himself to track down the lost item and found it, at another town's bus station   He drove to the town, picked it up and presented it to us while we waited on the track platform, literally five minutes before our train arrived!   Again, going above and beyond what is expected!  Marcel has our deepest thanks for his kindness and perseverance.
