There were three of us staying at the Walpole wilderness retreat. We had such a lovely time. The accommodation was fantastic. A large three bedroom house for two bathrooms and a spa we were able to go on lovely walks. The animals were fantastic to watch and interact with and help feed and the owners went out of their way to help us. It’s a pleasure to go there. We can’t wait to go again. No Internet no mobile phones we took a hard drive and plugged into TV and watch movies instead

The Owners are really helpful and friendly. It is a lovely place. There are emus, goats, alpaca and wild birds to spot. The scenery is beautiful. The cabin fully equipped kitchen and laundry, log fire and spa. Beds comfortable and really quiet.

We planned our 40th Wedding Anniversary with a four night stay. We were very warmly welcomed by our host Maria, who was outstanding. She made our stay so welcoming. Xavier gave us a private musical experience with his extremely gifted talents playing his fiddle. Wow and together with the valley setting, was truly magical. The Chalet was spotlessly clean and tidy and an added bonus for us were the freshly picked flowers on the dinning table. The adaceb=nt bush walks through their forrest was a real treat for us. This will be a lasting memory to us and we whole heartedly thank Maria, Jim, Xavier and Benedict, fo their warm hospitality. A truly beautiful place. Thank you Dave & Tania
