I stayed in a pet friendly room but it smelled like a kennel. Wear is seen on furniture and the A/c/Heater was very noisy.

After, one-night stay when you brought the concern about the smell, I provided you with the option to switch the rooms for second evening. But it was declined by your companion saying that it seems like normal pet room and decided to stay in the same room. Our whole team strives to provide our guest with the clean and comfortable rooms. We were out at a meeting until later, but the staff left the pool open a bit longer so we could all swim. Unfortunately the heater in the sauna takes a very long time to heat up, so we didn't get to use it. (It would have made a jump back in the pool seem frigid, so perhaps all for the best!)
We forgot an item in the room, and the staff were able to get in touch with us to pick it up before heading home that evening.

Good stopover for the one night we were there. We stay at the Ambassador every year when we pass thru Sault Ste Marie.

I was impressed with this budget hotel. The bathroom had been updated and there were new mattresses on the bed. I liked that we had a door wall that we could open with chairs outside that looked on to a nice piece of property for a city. The manager was extremely helpful and accommodating. The pool was quite lovely and it was the first time I got to try a dry sauna. It was clean, well-situated, and had nice hot water. If someone is looking for a place mostly to sleep with a few hours in a room in the evening, this is a great choice. I would happily stay again.

Convenient for our over night on the way home. Owner is very nice and helpful. The room was motel good, comfy bed, clean bathroom, lots of tv channels. Nice to have parking out front.
