This hotel has received quite a few improvements to it over years past. Needed to book an overnight stay for a family member to be in the Mt Vernon area and the FairBridge Inn worked out great. While it is not a five star hotel it is clean, and updated. They did offer a morning breakfast but I cannot speak to it. It is about a 20 minute drive from the west side of Evansville and about the same to the New Harmony area. It's not super fancy, but it was a good stay for the price.

Solo traveler I stayed oct 11 2025 one night in the suite room. When i pulled up there was a mop and mop bucket outside along with a trash can. That was still there the next day. The guy checking me in stopped to go do something then came back and finished checking me in.The wifi did not work! The hot tub was a jacuzzi tub not a hot tub as stated! The water for it was luke warm and it took forever to fill.I actually took the ice buvket and filled it with hot water to warm up the jacuzzi tub. Because for some odd reason the sink had extremely hot water. Alongvwith the shower. The towels had stains on them. Over all the room was just dirty. The floor you could tell needed mopped. The refrigerator needed defrosted. The chair and pullout bed both had stains. The ceiling light needed cleaned you could see dead beds. The room was very dark, even with every light on. The hotel is not the same name as advertised. The fruit for breakfast you could tell had been there awhile. The mini fridge was dirty thats where the milk and juice was. Also was very dark in the dining area. This was a very outdated hotel. Next time I'll drive a little bit further to stay at a better hotel.

Should have spent another $20 and stayed elsewher.
Actual name is Mount Vernon Inn.
The lobby reaked of curry. The room was extremely out dated. The sink had a crack down the middle. The ice machine was broken. Fortunately I was wake and eating the bland breakfast when they were dragging the broken machine down the hall at 7:20.

The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the air conditioning worked well in the room, but it was otherwise not a great experience. In the room, the previous tenant’s leftovers were still in the fridge when I arrived. Also, they did not have the air conditioning turned on in the hallway or the breakfast area, so it was very hot. The fruit in the breakfast area was past its prime - super soft bananas and dried-out tangerines. Plus, the ice machine and water fountains were out of order.

This was false advertising, the facility building looked nothing like the picture. YOU ******* adverted this as being in Evansville. Not even close. The people who run this hotel are not to blame, you are.

It was older but functional for the visit. The bathroom door sticks. There was a stale smell in the room. The water pressure was strong and hot. I slept well.

I had a pleasent experience during my stay at FairBridge Inn Express at Mt Vernon, Indiana. Staff is very friendly and helpfull. Due to weather I had to check out a day early six hours past checkout time and the host did not charge me for the last day of my stay. A very welcome suprise.
