The Ugly: Dirty room corners of room full of dirt and debris. Walls had water damage. Dangerous high step into room. Moldy smell in the room. Animal scratching in the ceiling at night. Toilet paper roller not attached to wall.

Location, location, location! The sunsets here are amazing. Rooms are fine. Food from the restaurant is excellent.

Beautiful location. Watched the sunset from my rooms large window.
Needs black out curtains due to outside light fixture.
A freezer inside the fridge would be nice too.
Id still return to this place

Nice place with a private beach. But the beach chairs were broken. Otherwise, very relaxing place. Food at restaurant was great as was the service. Chairs to relax at the out front door. Room was clean and very roomy with a beautiful view of the lake. Would stay there again.

This hotel is an old building, but the bed was comfortable and everything worked in it. It was clean & comfy.
It is just off the hwy a bit. Easy to get to. Restaurant on sight with great food.
The very best part was the view!!! The motel is on a bay and the sunset was gorgeous!! The motel windows face the water! Nothing beats it!

Clean room with a beautiful view on the lake.
Room has all comforts, clean bed and linens. Temperature control. Microwave, Coffee kettel and all requirements are provided.
Room and washroom have good power outlets.
It was a very comfortable stay. The restaurant was closed, as it was Thanksgiving weekend. The service and check-in was good. We were provided information regarding restaurant and food joints which were open and they were not too far from the Inn.
Sorry, this app does not allow to alter the star, hence put average as I did not want to be rude. But, the menu is great and I am sure the food it delicious. He owner/ manager even mentioned the food items, and wished the restaurant was open.
We checked out early and ate at a near by Sunset Beach & family restaurant. We were so greatful for this information. The breakfast was awesome, delicious with great service.
Reverting back to Motel, this location is beautiful, with a small beach. Picnic tables and chairs to enjoy the spectacular view of Lake Huron and the little islands.
We were there to enjoy Fall, and were blessed with nature's full glory.

Stayed overnight in Thessalon on a road trip across Canada. The view from the hotel was beautiful of Lake Huron. Dining options were extremely limited, the room was very small, beds were uncomfortable, the room was not very clean and we were uncomfortable leaving anything in our car due to the clientele. Would pass this by.

Room wasn’t ready, garbage on property, dirty floors, tub didn’t drain properly. Owner unwelcoming and pushy, had to ask him to return my drivers license. Horrible stay
