Stayed for two nights and I cannot express how amazing it was. All of the staff were so helpful and amazing. The breakfast in the morning is no joke. Go hungry because it’s delicious and a good amount. The eggnog at the tavern was on point! So dang tasty! We only had a few spooky things at night but definitely fun. We will absolutely be staying here again!

My Wife and I stayed this past Tuesday and we were the only ones in the entire Inn! Like no staff or anyone else, we could’t believe it. We, well I decided to sleep with the door open so we wouldn’t miss any sounds. The Sarah Black room didn’t disappoint. Earlier in the evening before we realized we were going to be all alone, we decided to go to dinner. I took the Rempod and put it directly in front of the mannequin in the corner of the room and asked any spirits to touch it to let us know they are there, we set a digital recorder on the table and just as you hear us leave the room, lock the door and walk away it went off for about 10 seconds! Note, never went off again the entire night. Later that night we had so many sounds we recorded it was insane, most were creaks or pops, but on 2 occasions we caught what can only be described as someone walking into/around the room and rustling through something. the second incident lasted 40 seconds and was right in front of us, we were frozen like statues and were so scared to move lol. Another time we heard 3 different pop sounds in succession with each a different tone. Then a short whistle at one point. Mostly creaky floorboards even though nobody else was there, which is creepy in and of itself. We left knowing this stuff really does happen and the Farnsworth is legit *******. Great stay!

We had a very relaxing dinner. And made a plan to visit The area behind the Inn known as Camp Farnsworth. Our story tellers name was Ryan, and he was an excellent host. He knew his history. He had a campfire ready with marshmellows and sticks. It is a new attraction, but one I enjoyed along with my daughter. Call the Fransworth Inn for times and enjoy some spooky stories along with a campfire.

Theres not enough stars to give the Farnsworth from the moment my wife and I arrived they went above and beyond helping us get settled in for our 4 days stay. You can schedule your breakfast time to suit your schedule it's served in the main dining room all the food at the Farnsworth has to be experienced its top notch. We stayed in the Chamberlin room which was very comfortable even comes with its own front porch you can enjoy coffee on and watch the sun rise to the east can't beat it in my opinion. I myself will stay at the Farnsworth for any future trips I make back to Gettysburg.

They are still serving the same menu as years ago. As the old saying goes if it’s not broke don’t fix it. They still serve spoon bread and the relish of the day which happened to be a bean salad. The game pie was served in a crock with a nice presentation. Tada ting you have to have this to know what that means. The sweet potato pudding and the pumpkin fritters went nicely with the game pie. Shoo fly was the happy ending to this tasty meal. We will be back.

First time ever going to Gettysburg and we wanted to stay in a historic home. The Inn did not disappoint! If you’re looking for a modern hotel, this is not for you, however, if you are looking to stay in a historic home where the staff is friendly and the environment is relaxing then I strongly recommend! The Inn Is right in town.We stayed four nights in the McFarlane Room and were extremely satisfied. The beds were comfortable, the breakfast was very good and were able to meet some of the guests that had been staying and coming back here year after year. The fact that we did get paranormal activity was a plus!!!! I highly recommend!

We stayed 2 nights in the Lincoln room... breakfast was great every morning and the room was very nice....we stayed 1 night in the Sarah Black room... it was awesome....at night it sounded like a bunch of people were in the hall, trying to get in, but there wasn't a peep hole to look out, which might have been a good thing... loved the location and everyone was nice, highly recommend .... we can't wait to go back

I reserved 4 rooms on 7/6. Upon check-in we reserved a breakfast time (that was included with the room rate) for 8:00. We were told later that our breakfast reservation couldn’t be honored because it was “full.” The next day we asked for lunch to compensate. The manager declined to speak to us directly and through the desk attendant we were told that “The manager said no, we can’t give away free food.” Considering this is a bed and breakfast and it was a part of the room rate I found the response to be disappointing. I didn’t make a big deal out of it because I didn’t want to embarrass the attendant in front of other guests; it wasn’t her fault. I can’t help but feel that we were treated poorly .
