This “hotel” is disgusting. We had to go through four different rooms to find a room that wasn’t smoky dirty. The door shut the beds made. This hotel is complete trash. I would not recommend anyone stay at it. Staff was just as bad and didn’t care that the rooms were disgusting and not clean.

Amenities no breakfast, very noisy was not able to sleep cause of all the stomping and banging, hallway carpet was disgustingly dirty and smelly, stains everywhere. As for the room it was extremly clean and staff was amazing.

The staff was very nice. The place was horrible though. The room was dingy and super outdated. It just gave me a bad vibe. Couldn’t sleep the night.

I found it ridiculous to have no paper towels in the room as well as having to pay to use kitchen supplies

I ended up checking out early to go somewhere else because there were bugs throughout the entire room. I’m not talking about 1 or 2, I get it’s Florida, but it was about 15 I killed the only night I stayed, from brown beetles to cockroaches. The staff was incredibly gracious and understanding when canceling and gave a full refund.

When I went to check in, the lady acted like I was bothering her. She was extremely rude, and did not want to answer questions. Snapped at me and was very slow to assist. The hotel had people hanging outside smoking and men were outside in groups. The smell was horrible. The carpets were stained very bad. Food in the middle of the hallway floor. I woke up with my door unlocked, thankfully I placed a chair. I did not feel safe. You can hear everything going on the floor. Window has no blinds to block the light, it beams into the room. The worse experience I’ve ever had staying at a hotel in my life!

Painful experience
Me and my husband stayed at the Stay America hotel for only one night. We purchased for 3 days but we barely were able to stay there for one day, the room and the service was nice. However the floor we were on smelled very badly of smoke, plus the people staying around us were very loud all the way to 1 in the morning. We hurried on out and got a refund. What didn't help it looked nice on reviews till we got there and stayed a bit.. it felt like a horror movie. Would not recommend if you like to not smell smoke and hear loud banging till it's very late.
