Very nice hotel my only problem was with the room it was a single room but it was very small
House keeping was very poor which i did bring this to their attention but nothing was done.
Even had a manager have to make up my bed one evening as i had stripped it but no clean bedding was put on the bed.

Nice but a bit disappointing
A nice but slightly disappointing stay. The hotel was lovely and views cannot be faulted, however there were lots of little things that don't impact your stay really, you'd expect to be better given the amount you're paying. There are lots of minor cosmetics like dents on walls, rusty chromework etc as well as the cleanliness. There were cobwebs everywhere in the bar and restaurant and the floor always seemed to have crumbs somewhere. In our room, our fan was caked in dust and the ledges and skirting boards were also very dusty. The staff on reception and in the bar were lovely, but very overworked! One housekeeper barged past us on the narrow stairs more than once, including when we were carrying suitcases! None of this would put me off staying again as the location is amazing, however I would only go back there if it was a lot cheaper - our little room facing the car park was not really worth over £200 a night.

I only had the breakfast, but continental and cooked was good. Staff were attentive. The fan in my room was covered in dust, but the receptionist insisted on cleaning it when none of the cleaning staff were about. It was not possible to sit at the desk on the chair provided as there was not enough room because of the bed. The rain water shower was excellent though.

Nice hotel spoilt by the lack of air con. Room almost uninhabitable without a large freestanding fan running 24/7.
