i had booked to stay at this hotel with a Mumbai travel agent - Seasoned Traveller. When i reached at the hotel i was informed that there was some miscommunication in the dates & i was booked for some other date. This was awful!! i was already tired of the long journey from Cochin & did not expect this!! i wonder how these travel agents function & how could they commit such gross errors!! as the hotel was full they could not offer us other accomodation. further the hotel was a good 40 min away from main munnar town. we were felt cheated. sienna village manager then offered us to stay at thier sister property near by - Country Club - which was a big area but pathetic services & horrible food. i think there was no other guests in that hotel. As i had a small baby i wanted good food & after arguing long with my agent, the Sienna village manager offered us to dine at thier restaurant. the food at sienna village was really good. all in all i think it was the mistake of both the agent & the hotel, & in effect it spoiled my holiday. i advise all to carefully check on the agents before booking. the sienna village looked good with good views & rooms, good food as well. wish i could have the opportunity to stay here.

We thoroughly enjoyed our two-night stay at Siena Village, which coincided with their New Year’s Eve celebration. We were delighted to be part of the hotel’s private New Year’s event, which was exceptionally well organized and truly memorable. The food service was excellent, and the evening’s program added a festive and joyful atmosphere to our stay. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with genuine warmth and hospitality by the staff, followed by a personal welcome from the General Manager, Mr. Susheel P. M. What stood out most was his thoughtful presence—he took the time to personally welcome and interact with every guest, which speaks volumes about the level of care and attention provided. The property itself is beautiful, offering serene outdoor views that our family thoroughly enjoyed. Combined with outstanding hospitality and attention to detail, our stay was both relaxing and special. We would highly recommend Siena Village to anyone looking for a memorable and well-hosted experience, and we look forward to visiting again in the future.

Awful road to the resort, truly very uncomfortable drive. Checked in , taken to room, broken door lock, dingy damp bedding, broken light so we asked to be moved which we were but not much of an improvement. The hotel is very remote as it was a hill station and it has no bar which we were not advised of. Food very mediocre and certainly not international cuisine which we were told it would be. Staff were pleasant bit overall a very disappointing stay.

It was a very unpleasant experience with the sales / reservation staff. We had a death in the family due to which we had to check out 3 nights before our stay. We got to stay just one night. The one night we stayed we really liked the place and the service. The staff at the resort were very welcoming and helpful. But the next early morning we had to leave due to the family emergency and were asked to contact the reservation team for any possible solution for the 3 nights that we had payed for. So we called them, firstly the lady who spoke was so rude and un-empathetic towards the entire situation, that the entire time we spoke to her felt such a waste of energy, secondly the senior management was also very rude and un-accommodating, they kept talking about policies and all… but so un-empathetic towards our situation. We really liked the place and the people there and was so looking for a solution to come back but they seemed disinterested in offering any kind of solution. We were not asking for a refund! We just wanted to come back to the place and enjoy their hospitality but in the end were so disappointed by their behaviour which made us feel we shouldn’t waste out time in even talking further and rather look for a different place next time.
